Remember A Separate Peace by John Knowles? That dizzy novel you had to read in, like, ninth grade English? Did you love it? Do you still love it? Do you still love Gene and Finny? It just so happens there's actually a role playing game for the book! The first and only ever A Separate Peace RPG. Nearly all the characters are still available.

Premise:
The school year has just ended for Gene Forrester and Elwin 'Leper' Leppellier, and they're looking forward to the long, lazy Summer Session ahead. As for Phineas, who will his next roommate, or as Brinker Hadley aptly puts it, "victim"? Will there be a draft by the time the boys graduate? What of the war-torn hero Pete Hallam from one of John Knowles' other masterpieces, Peace Breaks Out?

Setting:
The year is not 1942, but 2007. Devon has evolved over the years into a co-ed school, still the pride and joy in New Hampshire. The Iraq war is in full swing and Gene's brother is still away.

Plot:
The book's plot, of course. But this time, we're in 2007. And what happens after graduation? Who lives and who doesn't? Play to find out, of course!

So why are only these characters available? These are the characters that will function most easily in the rpg, can have the most interaction with one another, etc. If you're really wanting to play someone not on this list and have an idea for how to integrate them into the plotline, please feel free to let us know. :)
